An intercollegiate Arts and Crafts Competition was organized in 1971, organised
by Hashim Shariat. Girls from Home Economics College Karachi, led by Ms.
Shehla Qaiser helped out. Dr. Meher Bano of class of 1977 and Dr. Ghazala Durrani Class of 1977 won the first and second prize in Embroidery.
