Dow Medical College Class of 1960: The photo is now fully tagged thanks to Irfan Rizvi, Dr. Ali Junshyd (a retired radiologist with V.A. Hospital in Houston, Texas, and Mr. Mazhar Kazi (who has worked with Dr. Rizvi as pathologist in the past. Currently he is in Houston). Dr. Bashir Ahmed is in Arlington, Texas and Dr. Abdul Qadir Hashmi is a general practitioner in Karachi and Dr. Amin Ahmed is a pathologist in UK. The photo was shot at the Shangrila Photo Studio. So in 1960 four out of six doctors in this small sample size migrated abroad! The numbers have not changed since! (AHK)
Zafar Zaf Tahir of Houston, Texas wrote on July 7 2018 in DOWLIST FaceBook Post: Dr. Ameen Ahmed (Late) is my wife Yasmeen’s (Cookie) Uncle. He passed away in UK and at his request was laid to rest in Karachi. He and his English wife came to Pakistan regularly and stayed next door to us. They got to know my parents well and through him Dr. Rizvi. Their son Tariq is settled in West Indies.
