Professor Hafiz Akthar is a Cardiologist and was on teaching staff of Dow Medical College in the 1950’s. This was the time when Dow Students went to Jinnah Hospital for clinical teaching. He is currently in Islamabad and practiced as a private cardiologist and taught at the local medical school.
