Dow Medical College Students’ Union Elections 1962! Under surveillance of the Field Marshall! Abdul Razzak of Young Medicos Organization (YMO) won. The last President of DMCSU in 1982-83 was Khalid Anwar (NSF) who continues to be the “President in Exile for Life” since elections were banned thereafter!
I voted in this election.
I was also a candidate for Class representative for the Final Year and won the election.
Very eventful year.
I also had to preside over the General Body meetings when Razak was made unavailable.
It was a great time, I must say.
