Since 2013, TheDowDays.com has grown into the most comprehensive digital archive dedicated to everything related to Dow Medical College—a living repository built by alumni, for alumni. Over the years, the site has preserved memories, documents, photographs, narratives, and milestones that collectively define the Dow experience across generations.
This New Year finds us at a particularly meaningful moment: the 80th Anniversary of Dow Medical College. As part of this historic commemoration, we are in the midst of expanding the archive with rare, previously unseen material that sheds new light on Dow’s origins, its people, and its enduring legacy.
In the coming weeks, TheDowDays.com will proudly present several landmark additions to the archive:

A foundational book documenting the origins of Dow Medical College and the early history of the Dow Medical College Students’ Union and the Dow Legacy. - The original document that initiated Dow alumni activity

A carefully produced re-enactment of Foundation Day – December 10, 1945, bringing to life the moment Dow Medical College was born. - A personal memoir by the granddaughter of Dow’s founder
An intimate and moving account, offering a rare family perspective on the man behind the institution.
